From curiosity to discovery — Shaping the next generation of healthcare innovators

The BMG Emerging Scholars Program is a dynamic mentorship and professional development initiative led by the Clinical Trials Department at BASS Medical Group. Designed for high school students with a strong interest in science, medicine, and research, this program offers a unique opportunity to explore the world of clinical trials and gain foundational experience in healthcare innovation.

Participants are immersed in real-world research environments and receive hands-on exposure to the clinical trial process—including study startup, regulatory submissions, patient engagement, data collection, and quality assurance. Scholars also work closely with experienced research professionals who provide mentorship, guidance, and insight into a wide range of clinical research careers.

As a capstone experience, each scholar will design a research project and present their work at a final poster symposium attended by peers, clinicians, and healthcare professionals.
